And are New Year’s Resolutions for the Decade required to be ten year’s worth of self-improvement? If so, what are yours?
As for me, I’ll be ringing in the New Year in Palm Springs with The Husband and The Girl, on a deliciously affordable Priceline getaway. That’s the lobby above–with more photos to come on the flip side. For now, for your reading pleasure, head on over to the newly-redesigned Literary Mama. It’s gorgeous.

Ooh! Enjoy that getaway! Have a great time for those of us living vicariously, too.
On a serious note, I think my resolution for this coming year is going to be to take better care of myself —physically, emotionally, spiritually, creatively— as best I can and to be ok with whatever that looks like. Letting go of the “shoulds.”

I’m trying to do the opposite; live one day at a time.
Define boundaries.
Love myself.

I’ve just started blogging myself, about dull and unimportant things, like glamour and fashion. A sharp contrast to your blog, which is ever so meaningful..You know what’s important in life, and you dedicate yourself to others. It is so touching.
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful thoughts, your opinions, your expertise. I will continue to read your blog. Thank you!
